As the owner I bring to this clinic almost 30 years of massage and bodywork experience and over 30 years of work in the field of health care. In my exposure to the medical and holistic approach to health and well-being in all of its manifestations (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual), I’ve found that body work is one of the most powerful forms of health, healing, and well-being.

I graduated from Lakeside school of massage therapy in 1985 (then known as Lakeside School of Natural Therapeutics) where I immediately started integrating my skills for end of life stages, under the care of surgeons, and medical doctors for a medical placement facility. My work continued in hospitals and homes for hospice, in this field for 12 years while I continued my education in neuromuscular therapy and began to teach seminars in the Midwest. I joined the staff at Lakeside school of massage in 1993 where I developed programs, served as the Dean of student, taught the massage therapy curriculum, helped develop the associated degree program and taught portions of it. I served on the board of directors and coordinated outreach programs in the community. 

I continued my practice throughout this time working with Surgeons, MD’s and Psychotherapists for the type of patients I was asked to treat. My continuing education and advanced training in neuromuscular therapy, personal assessment for strength and conditioning, for the individual needs of the client, has led to my belief that our clinic has the resources to address the vast variety of personal health and well-being needs and the knowledge to assist our clients to what would serve them best.
